Understanding the Air Force Common Admission Test

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted twice a year — in February and August — for recruiting candidates into various branches of the Indian Air Force.

It assesses aspirants on general awareness, reasoning, verbal ability, numerical aptitude, and military aptitude. Candidates who qualify in the written exam proceed to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for interviews, medical tests, and final selection.
